For the past few weeks, we have been having a lot of fun preparing for Halloween. We have done many activities, books, crafts, inquiries on pumpkins, paintings, potions, life cycles, songs, and decorations!

During our outdoor education, each child had a paint sample, and had to find objects in our yard that were of similar colour. We looked at the different shades of colours to match them up. Here are some of our results: The Blue Whales made apple crisp. We measured apples using measuring tapes and cubes. We recorded our findings on paper. We wanted to see if apples would float or sink. The Orange Tigers made apple sauce. We even painted with apples. We tasted apples and graphed the colour of apple we thought we liked the most and some changed their colour after we tasted them! We also tried to guess what colour of apple we were eating when blindfolded!
